Peggy Jean (Maloney) Preston

April 28, 1932 ~ August 29, 2012

Peggy Jean Preston, 80, of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Shawn Manor Nursing Home.

Peggy was born on April 28, 1932 in Mena, Arkansas to James Williams and Lena Reinhart Maloney. Peggy attended Roman Nose State College receiving a degree in nursing. Peggy and her family moved to Ponca City in 1954 and she worked at the Blackwell Hospital as an RN.

Peggy was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church she enjoyed playing bingo, cards, dominoes and bowling. Peggy enjoyed watching her kids play ball.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Son Robert and Daughter Teresa.

Peggy is survived by her 3 Sons Mike, Paul and Mark Preston all of Ponca City. BrotherJohn Maloney of Sand Springs. 7 Grandchildren Michael, Joshua and Kristian WilcoxenPreston, Sean and Shanna Preston, Briana Burdick and Sara Backhaus.

Visitation will be 14 pm Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Grace Memorial Chapel.
