Dorothy Joan (Ward) Prescott
February 16, 1926 ~ May 10, 2016

Services for Dorothy Joan Prescott, 90, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastors Zac Christian and Tyson Brown will officiate.

Mrs. Prescott passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at an Ada hospital. She was born February 16, 1926 at Canon City, CO to Raymond Marques and Dorothy Edith Babbitt Ward.

She married Byron Wilson October 27, 1945. He preceded her in death June 1996 in Pueblo, CO. Mrs. Prescott was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her children, Meg Prescott of Ada, Pat Prescott and wife Kathy of Phoenix, AZ, Carol Hackworth of Ada and Mike Prescott of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Jeremy Prescott, Phoenix, AZ, Dawn Thurber and husband Keith, Ada and Amy Miller and husband Greg, Ada; her great-grandchildren, Megan Snider and husband Brent, Tulsa and Kaelie Miller, Griffin Gurley and Emma Thurber, all of Ada; a sister, Jane Starritt, Colorado Springs, CO; five sisters-in-law, Dolly Ward and Myrna Ward, both of Pueblo, CO, JoAnn Ward, Albion, NE, Lucille Rearick, Brookeville, FL and Pat Myers of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law, Gab Blystone of Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four brothers, Charles Ward, Jerry Ward, Jim Ward and John Ward.
