Ruthie Vee Powell

September 27, 1921 ~ October 14, 2005

Graveside services for Ruthie Vee Powell will be held at Shafter Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon, October 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Don Foust will officiate.

Ruthie was born September 27, 1921 in Holdenville, Oklahoma and she passed away peacefully on October 14, 2005 with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Powell; son, Lenville Royce Powell, son-in-law, Bob Pope; one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanni Pope; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Denise Powell; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, LaVerna and Jack Dunn; sister, Nora Taylor, sister, Mary Geer; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and JoAnn Taylor as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.
