Tony Calvin Potts
April 12, 1951 ~ June 5, 2017

Tony Calvin Potts, 66 of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Denison, Texas. Tony was born on April 12, 1951 in Denison, Texas to Floyd Glen Potts and Oristine (Hartline) Potts. He graduated from Colbert High School and later married Linna Herman on January 19, 1973.

They moved to West Texas and returned to Colbert in 1994. Tony worked as a farmer and for Reedrill / Caterpillar Equipment as a line mechanic. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colbert. Tony never met a stranger and he enjoyed fishing, loved taking care of his lawn, cooking but most of all his grandchildren was the joy of his life.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jan Chandler.

Tony is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Linna Potts of the home; son, James Potts and wife Sarah of Midwest City, OK; daughter, Trista Wynn of Colbert, OK; grandchildren, Makenzie Wynn, Lillian Wynn, and Jillian Bradford; brothers, Glen Potts and wife Melba of Colbert, OK and Joey Potts of Colbert, OK; sister, Susie Busbey and husband Billy of Colbert, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate Tonys’ life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Colbert. Dr. Roddy Arnold will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant.
