Thomas Gene Potter

January 25, 1943 ~ January 2, 2008

Thomas Gene Potter, son of Emmett Eugene and Jane (Marrs) Potter, was born January 25, 1943, in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and departed this life on January 2, 2008 in Calais, Maine.

Tommy lived in Stilwell, Oklahoma the early years of his life and attended Stilwell Grade School and high School. He began working at "Doc Beene's" restaurant and was employed there until joining the Air Force from which he was honorably discharged due to a complete hearing loss in one ear.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Susan Potter of Tulsa, OK., and grandparents Thomas and Mary Ella Marrs of Stilwell, OK.

Tommy leaves to mourn three daughters; George Ann, Connie and Becky all of Lincoln, Arkansas, two sisters; Sondra Kay Thomas and husband Jim of Stilwell, OK., and Jane Ann Lisuzzo and husband Joe of Bella Vista, Arkansas, two brothers; Earl Lee Potter and Larry Dale Potter both of Tulsa, OK., and many nieces and nephews.

A private service is planned.
