Ivonna Sue (Thomas) Potter

October 29, 1948 ~ June 19, 2022

The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Ivonna Sue (Thomas) Potter, 73, of Enid will be held privately. Complete cremation care was under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Ivonna was born October 29, 1948, to Glenn and Edith (Young) Thomas in Ponca City, Oklahoma and passed from this life June 19, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She married Leon Potter August 8, 1981 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide. She was a Wife, Mother and Grandmother, whom never retired her duties. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and attending family reunions.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leon Potter, of the home, children, Dawn Waggoner, of Denver, Colorado, Lynnae Belew, of Dalhart, Texas, and Floyd Stolin, of Denver, Colorado; nine grandchildren, Jacob Stolin, Joshua Lank, Sarah Cooley, Jessica Lank, Samauel Veldhouse, Jamie Lank, Jo Ann Lank, Kenzi Conerty, and Destiny Meadows; thirteen great grandchildren, and five siblings, Charles Thomas, of Memphis, Tennessee, Elgin Thomas of Vaughn, Washington, Greg Bowman, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, TJ Meadows, of Denver, Colorado, and Lisa Meadows, of Chicago, Illinois; and twenty one nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Edith Thomas, one son, Mike Waggoner, and four siblings, Linna Bowman, Shelly Meadows, Dennis Sitters, and Mark Bowman.
