Tonya Lynn Porter
September 01, 1956 ~ June 17, 2018

Memorial service for Tonya Porter, 61, of Lahoma, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gale Taylor officiating. 

Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. 

Tonya was born September 1, 1956, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, to Ralph and Doris (Brown) Porter, and passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her home in Lahoma. 

Tonya grew up in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, graduated from high school, and attended college at Pratt Community College and Phillips University. 

In 1980, she moved to Enid, and worked as a secretary at St. Mary's Hospital, Bass Memorial Hospital, and Groendykes Transport. 

She was a member of the Christian Church of the Covenant. Tonya loved to sew, and spend time on her computer. 

Tonya is survived by her son Kelly Ashcraft of Moore; and her brother and his wife, Randell and JoAnn Porter of Silsbee, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Porter and Doris Detwiler; stepfather, Wendell "Wimp" Detwiler; and her brother Ronald Porter.
