Mary Jane (Daniels) Pope
January 14, 1953 ~ December 18, 2011

Memorial services for Mary Jane (Daniels) Pope, 58, of Meridian, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.

Mary was born on January 14, 1953 in Bakersfield, CA to Elmer Calvin and Lou Ellen (Devinney) Daniels. She passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 in Meridian.

Mary married Jimmy C. Pope on February 4, 1982 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a homemaker. She took great pride in her clean house - it was always kept immaculate. But her true passion has always been her family.

She is survived by her husband J.C. Pope of the home; one daughter Nicole Racheal Sessions of Gonzales, CA; two sons Zackary Jason Pope and wife Sarra of Guthrie and Blake Michael Pope of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren Matt Sessions-Villegas, Kaili Sarra Pope, and Zackary Zaine Pope; one sister Kay Matlock of Guthrie; one brother David Daniels of Atwater, CA; and two nieces Cindy Kay Wishon and Terri Dawn Nelson.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and brother Riley Joe Daniels.
