Memorial service for Zada Faye Poage, 87 of Enid, is 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Schroeder officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Zada was born September 27, 1935 in Camargo, Ok to Charles Batie (C.B.) and Zada Myrtle Alexander Gann, and passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023.

She grew up and attended school in Woodward, OK.

She married Delbert D. Poage on September 2, 1953 in Woodward, OK. They lived in Woodward and then Mineral Wells, TX, before moving to Enid in 1961. She spent her working years in the retail clothing industry. Zada was an avid gardener and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Poage Thornton of Yukon, OK, one son Bryan Poage, six grandchildren, Shea Poage and wife Jennifer, Desiree (Poage) Gilbreath, Braden Thornton and wife Caroline, Jessica Thornton and Kevin Poage and wife Laura; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Zada was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. & Myrtle Gann, her husband Delbert, one son Martin Poage, one grandson Cody Poage, four brothers and six sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Redeemer Lutheran Church
