September 12, 1943 ~ December 5, 2022

 Doug Plank, 79 year old Mutual resident died Monday, December 5, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, December 12, 2022 in the Woodward First Assembly of God Church. Interment will take place at a later date with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Douglas Martin Plank was born on September 12, 1943 in Woodward, Oklahoma the son of Wendell D. and Marcella Ruth (Fuller) Plank. Doug grew up in Woodward, attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School. At the age of 10 Doug went to work in his grandparents grocery store, Martinson's. After graduation Doug attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University with his Bachelors Degree. Doug was united in marriage to Dana Moyer on June 18, 1965 in Woodward. Doug and Dana were blessed with three children, Dawn, Dustin, and Dori. Throughout his working career Doug and his family lived in Woodward, El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, New Mexico before returning to the Woodward area to retire. Doug was most well known for being the Service Manager at Al Norman Chrysler and Dodge. He also managed Auto Auction of El Paso.

Doug was a man of many talents, he enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, and animals. He enjoyed playing golf, basketball and bowling. He and Dana enjoyed going to garage sales always on the lookout for a bargain.

He was preceded by his parents, his brother, Wendell Plank, and his son, Dustin Plank.

Doug is survived by his wife of 57 years Dana of the home, two daughters, Dawn Shirley of Lawton; Dori Plank of Broken Arrow, five grandchildren, Bryant Morse and wife Hillary; Cody Morse; Hunter Haller; Hannah Haller; and Haven Haller; four great-grandchildren, Adyson and Easton Morse, and Finley and Cove Morse; two sisters, Reann McHaney and husband Tom of Granbury, Texas; Kristan Bell and husband Tim of Woodward; several nieces, nephews other family and friends.
