Randy Allen Pixler

Randy Allen Pixler, 66, of Okmulgee, OK passed away February 24, 2021. He was born April 5, 1954 in Denver, CO to Marion Pixler and Viola Fleshman. He was raised in Kansas and California. His Uncle “Doc” raised him from age 12 until he was 18 years old. He was one of 14 children. He was a mechanic his entire life but he enjoyed doing carpentry work, gardening, yard work, watching John Wayne movies, spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

He married his wife, Minnie Cathleen Renton (Cathy), on March 24, 1977 in Las Vegas, NV and was married 43 years. He had six children: Terra Lee Renton (Cecil), Jessica Cathleen Renton (Kovach), Chastity Lynn Pixler, Daniel Allen Pixler, John Mark Pixler and Anthony Charles Pixler, 20 grandchildren: Daniel, Elycia, Brandon, Corey, Connor, Ian, Devin, Thaddeus, CJ, Abigail, Meaghan, Jean, Riley, Taylan, Aidan, Brian, Xsavior, Talon, Nova and Oryn, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many more family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy of Newton, IA, 3 daughters: Terra and husband Brad Cecil of Henryetta, OK, Jessica and husband Chris Kovach of Newton, IA and Chastity Pixler of Riley, KS, 2 sons: John Pixler of Henryetta, OK and Anthony Pixler and fianceě Phoenix Villarreal of Coweta, OK, 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 6 sisters: Rosie, Cheryl, Pam, Jeanette, Nita and Patricia, 6 brothers: Brad, Ronnie, Marion Jr., Gene, Doyle (Squeaky) and Eugene.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, Marion Pixler and Viola Jordan, stepmother Dora Pixler, uncle “Doc”, son Daniel Allen Pixler, grandson Ian David Allen McCandless, great granddaughter Angel Cecil, 2 unborn angel great grandbabies and brother Junior Lee Pixler.

A private family viewing will be held on Sunday February 28 at the Rogers Funeral Home in Henryetta, OK from 3:00 to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to a local animal rescue shelter in his name.
