The services celebrating and honoring the life of George Pitter, 88, of Carmen will be held privately. Complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born October 12, 1933, in Surrey, England to Kenneth and Nelly (Crummett) Pitter and passed from this life on February 09, 2022, in Enid at the age of 88 years.

He was raised and educated in England where he graduated high school. After high school he served in the United Kingdom Merchant Navy. In 1962 he moved to the United States where he made his home in Dallas, Texas. He worked for International Air Freight until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Church of England. He moved to Carmen, Oklahoma two years ago to live with his son when his health prevented him from living alone.

He is survived by his son, Phillip Fred Pitter of Carmen, Oklahoma; Brother, Tom Pitter of Boston, Massachusetts.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
