Benjamin Trujillo Pina

March 31, 1952 ~ February 3, 2009

Benjamin Trujillo Pina was born, the eldest of 13 children, March 31, 1952 on the humble Turascan village of Las Negritas, Guanajuato, Mexico.

When his village no longer had water or crops he, along with others, began walking north to a land where there was work and opportunity.

On February 3, 2009 lymphoma cancer claimed his life.

Ben was a long time employee of Flintco Construction serving as a labor foreman. He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Surviving him: wife, Suzanne; sons: Wesley, Vicente; daughters: Anna Smith, Theodora Mendez, Maria Pina, Maximina Lucio, Manuela Lucio; parents: Raymundo and Nazaria Pina.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Friday, February 6, 2009 at the funeral home.
