Connie Ann (Springgate) Pierson
July 15, 1961 ~ January 24, 2016

Connie Ann Pierson of Guthrie, Oklahoma left this earth too soon on January 24th, 2016. She was born in Boulder City, Nevada on July 15th, 1961 to William Springgate and the late Barbara Davis.

Connie graduated from Boulder City High School and later Langston University. She volunteered countless hours to the needy. Her life was devoted to honoring the Heavenly Father as well as her family. She was a lifelong member of Bible Baptist Church in Guthrie and taught Sunday school there for many years. She loved singing, traveling the world, and gardening at the home she built with her husband in Guthrie.

Connie married the love of her life, Bob Pierson, on Sept 5th, 1981 and moved to Guthrie shortly thereafter. She was the mother to two children, Autumn Lingerfelt and Kelli Baker. She had five beautiful grandchildren, Matthew, Brinley, Tara, Mason, and Calais.

Connie was a beautiful soul who touched many lives around her. Her smile was contagious and she lit up any room she walked into. She worked tirelessly to ensure her family and friends were happy.

Connie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bob, and their two children. Her loving spirit will always remain in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, 40 West 57th St., # 1440, New York, New York 10019 or www.hopefordepression.org

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be nomore death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4
