Pryor-
Alice Marie Phipps, 79, of Pryor, passed away on July 21, 2025,
in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Born on January 12, 1946, in Albany, New York,
Alice was the daughter of Morrie and Agnes (Stewart) Rose. She spent many
years working as a receptionist in a pediatric doctor’s office, where her
kind demeanor and warm smile made a lasting impression on countless
families. She was married to Harold Phipps, and together they built a life
centered on love, family, and simple pleasures. Alice was a creative soul
who enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, and word search puzzles. In her
younger years, she was a devoted fan of Bobby Rydell. Her home was filled
with love and laughter, especially from her two beloved cats, Tinker and
Tucker, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Alice will be
remembered for her gentle heart, her creativity, and her unwavering
kindness.

Alice is survived by sister, Louise Baucom of Pryor, Oklahoma; and her nieces and nephews, Billy Baucom, Corrie Roberts, Amy Cope, and Kyle Baucom; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Agnes Rose, husband, Harold Phipps, brother, Claude Rose and sister, Linda Rose.
