Marla Louise (Ellis) Phillips

September 14, 1939 ~ May 27, 2021

Marla Louise Phillips of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on May 27, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born to Elbert and Lena Lee (Holt) Ellis in Metropolis, Illinois on September 14, 1939.

Marla was a secretary and worked for the Sand Springs Public School Transportation Department. She married Gary Phillips on June 3, 1996. Marla loved everything about country life, and enjoyed needle point and crocheting, she also had a fascination with hummingbirds, but nothing was better than spending time with her eight children and the rest of her family, especially during holidays.

Marla is preceded in death by her mother Lena Lee Ellis, her father Elbert Ellis, and her son Wayne D. Bartley.

She is survived by her husband Gary Allen Phillips, her sister Barbera Jean Miller, and her children; Michael Mick, Ladores Phillips, Kerwin Bartley, Edward Brown, Charles Wold II, and Imaikalani Cabrera, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held June 5, 2021, at 2pm at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
