James Phillips
August 18, 1965 ~ August 26, 2021

Mr. James Phillips, 56, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Nesbit, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven, MS, is in charge of local arrangements. Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, in Enid, OK, at 1007 Canary Lane.

Mr. Phillips was an incredibly good, generous, and kind man. His witty personality and his giving nature made his lifetime friends loyal beyond measure. Always a risk-taker, James always was up for a challenge and willing to work tirelessly until a job was done. He had an affinity for old cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles and a love of dogs. He was an exceptionally devoted uncle, who loved his many nieces and nephews. James will truly be missed by his family, friends, and those who knew him.

Mr. Phillips leaves behind his loving mother, Marjorie Phillips of Wichita, KS; his three sisters, Beverly (Tony) Harmon of Memphis, TN, Stacie (Rodric) Valdez of Wichita, and Lynne Taylor of Overland Park, KS; his two brothers, Stephen Phillips and Michael Phillips, both of Enid, OK; his six nieces, Leticia Cabral of Wichita, Marisa Cabral of Chicago, IL, Isabel Valdez of Madison, WI, Shanna (Rick) Cuaderes of Enid, Jamie Phillips of Allen, TX and Rebekah Barnes of Overland Park, KS; his three nephews, Matthew Phillips of Enid, Tomas Cabral of Kansas City, and Samuel Valdez of Kansas City.
