Dannie Michael Phillips

Dannie Michael Phillips
March 1, 1948 ~ July 27, 2015

Dannie Michael Phillips was born on March 1, 1948 in Durant to Simon and Helen Dale Goodwin Phillips and passed from this life on July 27, 2015 in Denison, Texas at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 26 days.

Dannie graduated from Durant High School and then served his Country in the United States Air Force, United States Army and the Army National Guard until his Honorable Discharge on April 25th, 2000.

Danny was member of several Veterans organizations in Durant.

He was a truck driver and worked for Rustin Concrete for ten years until his health declined.

He was of the Baptist faith and he loved helping people.

Dannie is survived by his brother, Wayne Singleton and wife Sherry of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; cousins, Jerry and Sharon Goodwin and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dannie was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Judy.

A celebration of Dannie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Military Honors.
