Kenny Joe Phelps
June 13, 1960 ~ January 28, 2024

Kenny Joe Phelps was born on June 13, 1960, in Durant, OK to Bobby and Mary Jane (Davis) Phelps. Kenny passed away on January 28, 2024, in Durant, OK at the age of 63. Kenny graduated from Blue High School. He married Jacqueline Large on August 3, 1994, in Albany, OK. He attended Bennington Baptist Church, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father Bob Phelps and grandparents Homer and Lottie Davis and Ted and Lois Phelps.

Kenny is survived by his wife Jacqueline Phelps; mother Mary Jane Eldenburg; children Ashton Senter and husband Kyler, Chris Buck and wife Heather, Falon Nelson and husband Chris, and Kim Phelps; step children Heather Fults and Joshua Fults; brother and best friend Scott Daniels and wife Tracy; 16 grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024, at Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant. Pastor Jay Perry will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
