Victor Emmanuel Frederick Petrie

Victor Emmanuel Frederick Petrie
January 25, 1933 ~ January 30, 2013

VICTOR EMMANUEL FREDERICK PETRIE was born 25 January 1933 to Alice Josephine (Kauffman) Petrie and Floyd Hayes Petrie, in Toledo, Ohio. He went home to help God on 30 January 2013. He was 80 years and 5 days old.

In 1951 he joined the United States Air Force where he would embark in a career of his life. He was a Vietnam and Korean Veteran.

It was during his adventure of the Air Force while stationed at Kirkland Air Force Base, New Mexico, that he meets the Love of his Life Martha Christina Moulds, daughter of William James Moulds Sr. and Edith Marie (Cox) Moulds. They meet in March of 1960 and were married on September 3, 1960. Though this love and adventure they have a daughter and a son born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a daughter born in Honolulu, Hawaii and a daughter born in Chanute Air Force Base, Illinois.

He had many part-time jobs doing all kinds of things while the children where young so that his wife could be at home with the children. He retired from the Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma in 1972. After retiring from, he went to work for the Oklahoma Employment Security Commissions (The Employment Office). He was a Senior Interviewer and Veteran"s Rep. He retired again in 1990.

He loved to talk to people and help others when he could. He was a Catholic and loved to talk to you about it. He was a true OSU fan (Ohio State University) Go Buckeyes!!! He loved to Bowl, Square Dance or anything that he and his wife to do together or with his children. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, great-nephews/nieces, in-laws and even the in-laws families, and even some out-laws. (They were family too!) He loved to go to breakfast at (Hardee"s) Carl Jr"s on Reno Ave. and Midwest Blvd., in Midwest City and just visit with all his friends. He had a love for animals. He would talk to any of them. He even got a squirrel in back yard to stop and listen to him.

There were no strangers just friends you had not met yet. This is something that Victor (Daddy) wrote in a calendar he and MarTee (Mom) made for his family. Vic Believes he has been blessed all his life. He feels other people have worked a lot harder than he and have ended up with a lot less. He always says that someone is watching out for us. He has always wondered who has the second best wife in the world. (His is the Best) He is/was truly loved and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life Martha "MarTee" Christina (Moulds) Petrie.
