Laura Renee (Bergland) Peterson
August 30, 1961 ~ November 18, 2020

Laura Renee Peterson was born August 30, 1961 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of Roger and Marlys (Suelter) Bergland. She passed from this life November 18, 2020 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years.

Laura had lived in Oklahoma City since 1994 moving here from Grand Forks, North Dakota. She and Kenneth Peterson were united in marriage on July 26, 1985 in Grand Forks. Laura was a Counselor for many years. She enjoyed swimming, crafting, and going to thrift stores. She was a member of the Sunny Lane United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an uncle, Jarl Bergland.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Peterson of the home; children, Matthew Peterson of Edmond and Heather Greenfield and husband Dusty of Choctaw; granddaughter, Margaret Greenfield; brother, Brian Bergland of Grand Forks, North Dakota; Aunts, Judith Salo of Great Falls, Montana and Phyllis Hale and husband Bill of Loveland, Colorado.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2pm at the Sunny Lane United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn E. Brack officiating. The service will also be live-streamed on the Facebook page Sunny Lane United Methodist Church. To watch the live-stream, like the page for access to watch the service.
