Linda Sue (Dennis) Peters
October 18, 1947 ~ October 7, 2023

Linda Sue Peters, 75, of Kingston, OK, passed away on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at the Alliance Hospital in Durant, Oklahoma. She was born in Blanchard, Oklahoma to the late George Dennis and Fern (Richey) Dennis. Linda grew up in Blanchard where she graduated high school. She then attended classes at Murray State College before moving to Shawnee in 1977. On August 1st of the same year she married Jack Peters in Norman, Oklahoma, and the two spent 40 years loving each other and raising thier family.

Linda was a hard worker and energetic business woman. For over 20 years she worked for Sears as a display manager before opening her own business, a Native American art gallery in Shawnee. Linda then moved back to Blanchard where she opened "Linda's Antiques" on Main Street. Linda loved to garden, attending the farmer's market in Norman, working in her yard, and cooking with her family. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by
Son: Randy Peters; Kingston, Oklahoma
Brother: Hal Dennis and wife Toni; Norman, Oklahoma
Sister: Donna Jervis and husband Kearn; Blanchard, Oklahoma
Grandchildren: Emily Smith, Grace Peters, and Josh Cunningham
Great Grandchild: Jack Smith

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son; Richard Cunningham, and a Granddaughter; Katie Cullum.

Celebration Of Life
The family will host a private service in the near future.
