Zelda Jane Perry
June 17, 1942 ~ April 4, 2022

Zelda Jane Perry, age 79, a Coalgate, OK resident (Coal County), was born June 17, 1942 in Tipton, OK. Zelda passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at her home. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Zelda was fiercely independent, and cherished her freedom during her golden years on her small slice of land in Coalgate, which she called her piece of heaven. She enjoyed making and selling her jewelry, reading books, watching movies, taking care of her animals and spending time at the casinos.

Zelda is survived and will be missed by her two sons, Alan Welch (Hope) of Virginia, Todd Welch of Texas, along with six (6) grandchildren, Fred Acorn Jr., Kourtney Welch, Blake Myers, Lindsay Myers, Caitlin Escamilla and Nicholas Escamilla and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, J.G. Perry; her mother, Oleta Neal; her daughter, Carmen Myers; and her sister, Debbie.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
