Bridgett Elaine Perry

Bridgett Elaine Perry
October 30, 1960 ~ October 18, 2020

Bridgett Elaine Perry, age 59, gained her wings and went to be with the lord after a short fight with cancer on October 18, 2020 at her home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family. Bridgett was born on October 30,1960 in Lakeland, Florida to KC and Lucy (Washington) Perry. She spent her working years as a secretary/inventory specialist in the retail profession. Bridgett was full of life, love and happiness. There was not a room she couldn’t walk into and make people smile. Her laughter and love for others was contagious and a gift we all treasure. She loved to crochet and everyone always told her you need to charge for these things, her words were, you can’t charge for love and thankfulness. She always just wanted to make other people happy. Bridgett loved the water and Key West Florida. If you knew Bridgett you were a better person just by being around her; her kind, gentle, humorous spirit will never be forgotten but always remembered.

She is preceded in death by parents, KC and Lucy Perry; grandparents John and Mae Brantley; biological mother Betty Brantley; former husband Garchester Wallace Jr., sister Natalie Goodman; brother, Harold Brantley; granddaughter, Katriel Wallace.

Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her children, Christopher Wallace, Garchester Wallace III (Jillian), Clifford Wallace (Roxanne); loving life partner, Oretha Thurston; sons Theodore Thurston Sr. and Orioen Thurston Sr. (Jennifer); grandchildren, Nathanael Wallace, Atarah Wallace, Benjamin Wallace, Theodore Thurston Jr., Iona Thurston, Jessica Thurston, Orioen Thurston Jr., Kylee Kiona Lynn Thurston; sisters, Beverly Brantley, Betty Upson, Angela Sherrod (Joseph), Zena Brown (Neville), Tangye Stephney (Kevin), Cheryl Muhammad, Kathrene Wallace, and brother Kevin Wallace (Deidre); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bridgett will be laid to rest alongside her father and mother in the Medulla Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida. Funeral service date and time are currently pending at this time.

Arrangements have been made under the direction of DeArman-Clark Funeral Home in Tishomingo. Friends and family can leave online condolences at
