Micah Lee Perkins

Micah Lee Perkins
October 23, 1982 ~ May 30, 2026

Micah Lee Perkins, 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma, on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Born on October 23, 1982, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Micah was the beloved son of Quirt and Darlene (Klein) Perkins.

Micah grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a strong work ethic that carried him throughout his life. Micah received a bachelor's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. He spent his career working in the oilfield, for Ford Audio, and ranching at Cheek Ranch, where he found purpose in the land, the animals, and the quiet satisfaction of a hard day's work. Outside of ranch life, Micah loved camping under open skies, shooting with friends, listening to music, and simply being surrounded by the people he cared about most. Micah was very active in the Good Fight Church in Yukon, OK. Serving his faith, community, and outreach.

Family meant everything to him. He is survived by his parents, Quirt and Darlene; his sisters: Shannon Perkins, Lindsay Perkins, Sandra Perkins, Alyx Perkins, and Sierra Perkins-each of whom he loved deeply and proudly. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Glen Klein; and good friend Janelle Berry and her daughter, Lilly. Micah's presence in their lives was steady, loyal, and full of heart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leon and Shannon Perkins, and his maternal grandmother, Anna Klein. Though he has left this world far too soon, the memories he created-full of laughter, warmth, and quiet strength-will remain with those who loved him.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial donation to The Good Fight Church, 500 E Main St., Yukon, OK 73099 or to SWOSU BCM at 719 N Bradley St., Weatherford, OK 73096.
