ENID, Okla. — Memorial service for Harvey Edward Pehl Sr., 73, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplin Gary Miller officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 27, 1939, to Felix and Magdalene Davis Pehl in Dripping Springs, Texas, and passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, in Enid.

He lived in California and Washington, and served in the United States Army from 1955 until he retired in 1976. He also worked in the oil field.

He married Luanna in 1966, in Mexico.

He loved to fish.

He is survived by daughters, Cynthia and husband Kevin Tharp of Enid, and Tammy Becker; son, Harvey Edward Pehl Jr. of Oklahoma City; brothers, Leroy of Courtside, Ark., and Glen of Colorado; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one niece, Loraine of Hennessey.

He was preceded by his wife, parents and two brothers, David and Bobby.
