Geneva (Hart) Payne
August 13, 1946 ~ October 11, 2017

Geneva Payne, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the age of 71. She was born on August 13, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Charles and Billie (Madison) Hart. Geneva married Don L. Payne in Garland, Texas on March 18, 1983. 

Geneva was a Customer Service Representative for Forney International. She enjoyed quietly reading a good book, and playing games. 

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Don Payne of Durant, Oklahoma; sons, Jeff Thompson and wife Lisa of Cypress, Texas, and Kenneth Payne and wife Deborah of Sterling, Kansas; daughter, Donna Henry of Nickerson, Kansas; grandchildren, Brendan Thompson and wife Racheal of Lubbock, Texas,  Kennan Jeloudarzadeh and husband Mo of Cypress, Texas, Callie Thompson of Cypress, Texas, Joshua Morrison of Sterling, Kansas, Jacob Morrison of Sterling, Kansas, Kendrah Payne of Sterling, Kansas, Shauna Payne of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Brandy Haddan of Nevada, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Charlie Thompson of Lubbock, Texas,  Rylynn and Rowan Jeloudarzadeh of Cypress, Texas, Makayla Morrison of Sterling, Kansas, Evelyn Kelly of Sterling, Kansas, Merrick Morrison of Sterling, Kansas, Maddilynn Payne of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Amelia Haddan of Nevada, Missouri. 

Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her, parents, Charlie and Billie Hart; and beloved daughter, Allison Jill Reynolds. 

A gathering of family, and friends, will be from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday October 15th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday October 16th , at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel with Pastor Jesse West officiating.
