Christopher Charles Payne
August 3, 1972 ~ September 5, 2022

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Christopher Charles Payne, 50, will be held privately at a later date.

Christopher was born August 3, 1972, to Charles Payne and Lorene Harnish in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed from this life September 5, 2022.

Chris graduated from Enid High School in 1990 and then graduated from Oklahoma State University. Chris was an avid outdoors man. After college, Chris took his love for training dogs to Afghanistan, where he worked for K2 solutions and assisted soldiers on how to train and handle their bomb-sniffing dogs. After returning state side he then moved to Texas, where he became a professional trainer of retrievers for hunt tests and field trials.

He will be forever missed and memories of Chris will be cherished.

Chris is survived by his mother Lorene Harnish, father Charles Payne, his wife Kathy, grandmother Verna Payne, sister Toni (Jamie) Klein, Kathy's daughter Stacey Ardnt, his niece Morgan, nephews Blain, Colin and Ryan, and extended family.

He's preceded in death by Lorene's late husband Dr. Henry Harnish and his grandparents Charles and Betty Payne and Louis and Mary Edna Peters.
