Gladys Bertha Paul

July 25, 1911 ~ April 26, 2006

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 30, at 3:00 p.m. for Gladys Paul at Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2801 Bernard St. in Bakersfield, CA.

Graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.

Gladys was born on July 25, 1911 in Micawber, OK. She passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Gladys would have been 95 years old in July and has lived in the Bakersfield area for 77 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Albert Paul. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Joanie Paul of Bishop, CA, Dennis and Lacretta Paul of Highland, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Velda and Glen Wiser of Bakersfield; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Gladys was an active member of the Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved God's word and she lived her life by it. Gladys touched many lives with her loving and gentle spirit. She will be missed dearly and loved forever. The family wishes to thank Optimal Hospice Care for their support and care.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gladys' name be made to Bakersfield Adventist Academy, 3333 Bernard St., Bakersfield, CA, 93306.
