Jack F. Patton

June 11, 1919 ~ 2002

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Roy S. Wheeler officiating. Entombment will be private. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Mr. Patton was born June 11, 1919, in Watonga, Okla. He married Dorothy Lee Rawls in 1954. He was a veteran of the Navy and worked at the Amarillo Air Force Base until it closed.

He owned and operated several restaurants in the Amarillo and Lubbock area. He retired from E-Way Sandwich Co. as a manager. He owned and operated J.P.'s Mobil Snaks for 12 years. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and Journeyman Sunday school class.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, son and grandson.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Diane McFather of Amarillo and Joelyn Whitling of Odessa; a brother, Don Patton of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Paramount Terrace Christian Church, building fund, 4000 Mays St., Amarillo, TX 79109; or Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
