Jewel Patterson, daughter of the late Arthur L. and Martha A. Bruton Gray, old timers in Roger Mills, attended the old Rankin school, later attending the Cheyene high school. She made Reydon her home until she was called to the bedside of her husband, who was in a TB sanitarium in the east.

She spent 34 years in Virginia and raised two fine daughters.

She was very faithful to the Methodist Church and was the leading soloist. She was called upon by other churches to help present special programs; she helped the Baptist present their programs many times always faithful as if her own.

She lead a full life doing for others.

She was ready to meet her Lord.

Many friends and loved one will miss this one.
