Buford Vernon Parrott

Buford Vernon Parrott
July 10, 1930 ~ February 21, 2024

Buford Vernon Parrott passed away on February 21, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Herbert and Laura Parrott on July 10, 1930 near Sparks, Oklahoma.

Buford was very proud to have served over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed a good game of cards or dominoes. And he loved visiting over a good cup of coffee. But his great pride and joy was his family, and nothing beat the hearing or telling of the latest funny story involving a grandchild, niece, or nephew.

Buford is preceded in death by parents Herbert and Laura Parrott; daughter Monette Hart; brothers Nelson, Leo, and Ray Parrott; and sisters Juanita Barnes and Mildred Hagar. He is survived by Treva, his wife of over 68 years; 3 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Buford’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lehman Funeral Home.
