July 23, 1953 ~ October 28, 2021

Joe Leonard Parnell 68, of Ardmore Oklahoma passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, in the VA Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on July 23, 1953, in Garvin County, Oklahoma to John Leonard Parnell and Betty Joe Fleming Parnell. Joe was raised in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma where he graduated High School.

He joined the United States Air Force and was stationed in Alaska. He later moved to Oklahoma City where he worked for Coca Cola and for Yellow Cab Company as a Taxi driver.

Joe has lived the past 2 years at the VA Center in Ardmore.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Joe Burt, Madill, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Sister: Patsy Sprouse and husband David, Madill, Oklahoma; Numerous Nephews and Nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother, Wayne Parnell.

Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
