Amy Michelle (Adams) Parker

Amy Michelle (Adams) Parker
August 9, 1973 ~ September 19, 2010

Amy Michelle Adams-Parker, wife of Mike, mother of Daniel, Michael Jr., Jerry Ray and Bobby Don, went peacefully to rest in the arms of her heavenly Father on September 19, 2010, at her home in Denison. Texas. She was 37 years young. Amy was born on Thursday, August 9, 1973 in Durant, Oklahoma to Danny Adams and Sharon Sue (Wilson) Adams.

Today as we celebrate her life, love and passion for "her boys", her family and friends...we also mourn with heavy hearts. Amy had an infectious laugh, smile, and the amazing quality of JUST loving everyone. The "boys" made her the proudest, and she shared her pride in them with everyone! As a the "domestic goddess" of her home, she loved to spend time watching wrestling with them , her "stories", Big Brother, Survivor and was so excited about seeing her sweet buddy , Earl Ray, show the world the next "Biggest Looser". This lady loved her computer time also, and could play some UNO, and loved to let ALL of her Facebook family know how well she played! Facebook brought a "completeness" to her life, she was able to reconnect, restore, and reflect, with people that have made a huge impact on her life.

Her genuine love for people extended farther than we can all imagine. She just LOVED. She loved her dog Ozzy, Loved to sing, dance, play bingo, go camping getting her nails done, listening and identifying with music and just being with her family and friends, all the time. It didn't matter when, how many, or how long someone needed a place to stay, her door was always open. She would have it no other way, people mattered to Amy. Her role as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, was not taken lightly. She will be so greatly missed, by so many. The greatest honor to her life, is to NEVER let her boys doubt, fear or forget, how much she loved them, how proud she was of them, and how she would do and give, everything and anything, for them. Reassuring them that she is resting comfortably with God in Heaven, she is more than okay, and they will again be with her one day.

She wanted us all to live, laugh and love, and live peacefully together. John 14:1-4 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.
