James L. "Jim" Paph

April 16, 1936 ~ December 17, 2020

James L. Paph, age 84, of Enid, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, in the Greenbrier Nursing Center. Jim was born April 16, 1936, near Alva, OK, to Kalman and Florence Shedd Paph. He attended and graduated from Alva Schools. He married Melva Joy Stamm. He enlisted in the National Guard and served for 2 years.

Jim was a carpenter and home builder in the Alva Community for several years. He is survived by his son Brian Paph of Owasso, OK; sister Mary Ann Colllie of Wichita, KS; daughter-in-law Frances Paph of Enid; two grandsons Michael and wife Briana Paph and Matthew of Enid; great-granddaughter Cora Paph; and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his son Aaron Paph, four brothers and four sisters.

There will be a private family burial at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
