Rosemary Elaine (Aegerter) Pagano

Rosemary Elaine (Aegerter) Pagano
July 25, 1938 ~ February 20, 2019

Rosemary was born July 25, 1938 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to William and Lydia (Bjornson) Aegerter. She married Michel F. Pagano and they were happily married for 47 years.

Rosemary loved playing cards, most any game, but her true love was bridge. She was a bridge instructor and taught beginning and advanced bridge. She especially enjoyed playing duplicate bridge. She was one of tow employees in 1956 to open the Grout Museum including tours in the planetarium in Waterloo, Ia. She started working as a federal worker in Procurement while in Frankfurt, Germany. She loved traveling during their 6 years in Europe. She returned to the states and worked at Ft. Sill in Finance and stayed until her retirement. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She'd laugh and would get excited over anything going on in their world. Even though there was a distance, with emails she was kept up-to-date on everything. Phone calls were always a treat. She and her daughters could talk for one hour easy. Her greatest Love was her husband, he came first in her life!

Rosemary Elaine Pagano, age 80, of Lawton passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Michel F. Pagano; her four children, David Lloyd Keiper of Duncan, OK, Robert William Keiper of Surprise, Az., Kelli Kay Hester of Burlington, KY., Trenna Sue and Jonathan Bingham of Atlanta, Ga., and one stepson, Michael Pagano of Pontoon Beach, Ill.; six grandchildren, Amber and Brayden Keiper, Jennifer Hester, Ashlynne, Paris and Katie Scarlett Bingham, and Michael Pagano; her sister, Delores Bender of Waterloo, Ia.; and her brother, William and Donna Aegerter of Waterloo, Ia.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, one brother and a nephew.
