Cleta Patricia (Morris) Paday

June 3, 1957 ~ Dec. 14, 2009

Cleta Patricia Paday passed away early Monday morning, Dec. 14, 2009 in the Stillwater Medical Center at the age of 52 years.

The daughter of the late Sam Morris and Fonda Mae Gray Morris, Cleta was born on June 3, 1957 in Cushing, OK and was reared and educated here, graduating from Cushing High School.

Cleta had worked and retired from Oklahoma State University.

She was a member of the Church of God.

She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible; singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was an avid O.S.U. fan.

Survivors include her children, Lourfonda Slayton of Stillwater and Samantha Anderson of Perkins; one brother Jerry Morris and his wife Linda of Bethany; 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Rondal Morris and two sisters, Louisa Morris and Marye Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 noon until 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 11 A.M. in the First Church of God in Cushing with Reverend Roger Roberts, officiating.
