Memorial Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Oxendine, 66, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma will be held on Monday, January 7th, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. in the Clark Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Boggs officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Oxendine passed away on January 2nd, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, Oklahoma.

Betty Jean was born on January 31st, 1946 in Marion, South Carolina to Gary Collins and Arlene (Calder) Collins. She was raised and attended school there and married Dennis Oxendine on June 10th, 1982 in Dillon, South Carolina. Betty was a home maker and most recently was living at the King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home in Durant.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jimmy, Gary Allen and Bobby Collins.

Betty is survived by her husband Dennis, of the home; five daughters, Deanie Maxey of Mill Creek, Oklahoma, Sheila Wilson of Emet, Oklahoma, Laura Wilson, Jackie Wilson and Samantha Wilson, all of Healdton, Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill Collins of Linwood, North Carolina and Floyd Collins of Pembrook, North Carolina; her sister, Gladys Oxendine of Fairmont, North Carolina; and other relatives.
