William Cherry Otwell

William Cherry Otwell
June 25, 1940 ~ March 5, 2013

 William Cherry Otwell, 72, of Jones died March 5 in Midwest City. He was born June 25, 1940 in Augusta, Georgia to William Foster Otwell and Mary Louise Otwell. Bill graduated from Midwest City High School and attended Central State University.

He was a retail grocer, a volunteer deputy sheriff and was in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw. He enjoyed shooting and was a member of the NRA.

Bill was preceded in death by his father William, mother Mary, and his step-father Henry Ward.

He is survived by his wife Lucy, of the home; daughter Shannon Kaye Nichols and her husband Dr. Michael Nichols of Vega, TX; son Travis Mark Otwell of OKC; grandchildren, Jonathan Nichols, Erryka Nichols, Caroline Nichols, Victoria Otwell and Amber Otwell; brothers, Lewis Otwell and wife Kathy and Michael Otwell and wife Mamie.
