Betty Jayne (Richter) Olmstead

Jan. 14, 1930 ~ June 1, 2008

A celebration of life service for Betty Jayne Richter Olmstead, 78, will be held at a later date in June. At her request, her body was donated to science at Health Sciences Center of the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

She was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Enid to Martha and Ralph Richter and died Sunday, June 1, 2008.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1947. She was a member of Central Christian Church and active in American Cancer Society.

Surviving are three children, David Olmstead and Debbye Hipps, both of Tennessee, and Donna Rupert of Norman; two brothers, Jerry Richter and Karl Richter, both of Enid; one sister, Sally Stevens of Enid; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society through Dexeus Oncology.
