Thomas Weldon Oliver
October 18, 1954 ~ May 17, 2021

MARSHALL - Thomas Weldon Oliver, 66 was born on October 18, 1954 to Roger Weldon and Patty Bunch Oliver and died at his home Monday May 17, 2021.

Tom and his family moved to Hennessey in 1962. He graduated from Hennessey High School in 1972. He then attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Geology.

Tom worked for Exxon Mobile from 1986 until 2011 when he retired.

He was a skilled hunter and gun collector. He had been to Africa six times, British Columbia, Canada, Alaska and Colorado for hunting trips. It was said that if Tom was shooting, it was dead.

Tom is survived by his wife of forty-two years Nancy, his brother Steve Oliver and wife Teresa, his niece Shanda Suit, and nephew Cale Oliver.

According to Tom’s wishes there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to The OSU Foundation with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
