Shirley Lynn (Kurz) Oleksuk
February 21, 1959 ~ March 11, 2014

Shirley Lynn Oleksuk, 55, of Lindsay, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at her home. The daughter of Wilbur Eugene and Doris (Hilton) Kurz, she was born February 21, 1959 in National City, California.

Shirley was Lutheran in faith. She was a longtime member of the National Game Fowl Breeders Association. She spent many hours volunteering at the school. She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, and knitting. Shirley recently made many infant hats and donated them to hospital nurseries. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Kurtis Oleksuk of Lindsay; her daughter, Karina Barthel and her husband, David, of Moore; her son, Ahren Oleksuk and his wife, Samantha of Lindsay; her grandson, Rhett Oleksuk; her two brothers, Eugene Kurz of Washington and Donnie Kurz and his wife, Vickie, of Washington; her two sisters, Carol Larson and her husband, Ward, of Washington and Linda Klander and her husband, Jon, of Washington; several nieces and nephews; many other loved ones and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
