Steven Wayne Oldham
November 19, 1957 ~ February 17, 2019

Steven Wayne Oldham, of Norman, aged 61, died peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of February 17, 2019. He was born on November 19th, 1957 in Maysville, OK to Mr. Wesley Wayne Oldham and Mrs. Donna Marie (Ratzlaff) Oldham.

He called a few places home while growing up, mainly in Oklahoma. He graduated from Norman High School class of '75. He went on to achieve a master's degree in architecture from the University of Oklahoma. He worked many years for an architectural firm in OKC before becoming a private contractor, which he did the remainder of his career.

Steve was fiercely passionate about his work and was involved in the design and construction of several large projects in Florida, Las Vegas and the Caribbean to name a few. He was a man who loved his family considerably and showed it every day of his life. He valued hard work, loyalty and a good sense of humor above all else.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Wayne Oldham. Steve is survived by his mother, Donna Marie (Ratzlaff) Oldham; his sister Kristi Marie Oldham, his son Derek David Oldham and his wife Sara; his son Colby Wayne Oldham and his wife Rachel; his grandchildren Sadie Jo Oldham, Blake Wayne Oldham and Hannah Mae Oldham, the latter of which were the light of his life and brought him an immense amount of joy.

A reception to remember and celebrate the life of Steve is 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, 2800 N. Van Buren, Enid, OK.

He was very passionate about coaching youth soccer and did so for many years. After coaching he still enjoyed playing for many years. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to Norman Youth Soccer Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made at www.ladusauevans.com.

Rest in peace dad, you will be missed terribly.
