Shawn William O'Laughlin

Shawn William O'Laughlin
November 15, 1985 ~ February 25, 2020

With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of Shawn William O'Laughlin of Billings, OK. He was only 34 years old. He passed on the morning of February 25, 2020.

Shawn was born in Fallbrook, California, to Gregory and Kelli O'Laughlin on November 15, 1985. He received his primary education at Billings, graduating in 2005. After high school, Shawn attended NOC of Tonkawa. Shawn worked as a pipeliner in the oil and gas industry.

How would he want to be remembered? Shawn O'Laughlin: A man who loved nature. The woods were his second home. He enjoyed cutting wood with his chainsaws. He was a gifted carpenter and took very good care of his tools. Shawn also liked his trucks, but his number one priority in life ... Christina and his kids. He cherished spending time with his family, laughing and joking. Quick to smile, accepting of us just as we are, always there to lend a hand. Always with a full heart, Shawn wrote pages upon pages of deep thoughts, poetry, and sentiments. Shawn even picked out the song list for his funeral down to the last detail. We will honor his wishes.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the Antelope Valley Church of Billings, OK. The Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Billings. Pastor Yoder will officiate. Honorary Casketbearers include Tyler McConnell, Jarrod Harrell, Luke Peat, Korbin Vincent, Doug Ranney, and Dineo Heilmann. A meal will be served after. Private scattering of his ashes will be held by the family.

Shawn was reunited in heaven with his mother, Kelli Rae Vincent; grandmother, Jerri Graves; grandparents, Joe and Janes O'Laughlin; and many aunts and uncles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Christina O'Laughlin, of the home, daughters Jaycee Ann, Audra Raen, and Kylar Grae, son Dylan James and father Greg O'Laughlin all of Billings. Also left behind are his brother Joel O'Laughlin of California; sister Jillian O'Laughlin; sister Heather Peat along with her husband Luke of Hunter; brother Korbin Vincent, stepfather Kurt Vincent both of Billings; nieces Hannah, Tori, Tynlee and Lilly; nephews Ashton and Noah; brother Jerrod Harrell and his wife Megan of Sand Springa; and his grandfather Jack Graves and his wife Pat of Enid; as well as a large extended family and a great group of friends.

Although he is gone he will not be forgotten.
