Robert Leon Oglesby, 67, of Tulsa, OK, was born July 1, 1958, in Pueblo, CO, to Roy Allison Oglesby and Sonya Joyce (Glazebrook) White. He passed away April 6, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
In his younger years, Robert embraced a life of adventure, working as a carnival roustabout and experiencing the world with curiosity and grit that stayed with him throughout his life. He later spent 20 years working for Tulsa Beef, where he took pride in delivering goods to restaurants and building lasting connections along the way. Robert had a natural eye for treasures and a talent for connecting with people, which he shared as a flea market vendor, collecting and selling a wide variety of items. He was always drawn to games—whether building them, selling them, or simply enjoying the fun of playing. In his later years, Robert found peace in fishing, especially during trips to New Mexico, where he could relax and take in the beauty around him. He also enjoyed spending time watching movies, with a special appreciation for documentaries that fed his curiosity about the world. Above all, Robert was an adventurer at heart—always exploring, always learning, and always finding joy in life’s simple moments. He will be remembered for his free spirit, his stories, and the many lives he touched along the way.
He is survived by his sister, Rosemary Clement; brother, James White and wife, Kellie; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Oglesby; mother, Sonya White; brothers, Jerry Bagby, Daryll Gene Oglesby, and Johnny White; and sister, Joyce.
Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
