October 21, 1930 ~ July 1, 2016

Christine Oglesby, age 85 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 in Hot Springs following a brief illness. Ann Christine Oglesby was born October 21, 1930 in Stamps, Arkansas to Virgil and Grace Cleveland. She was united in marriage to Minor W. Oglesby on December 22, 1950. He preceded her in death December 7, 2014. She had an unwavering faith in God and was an amazing example of what a Godly woman looks like. She took great joy in lifting her family and those she cared about up to the Lord in prayer. Mrs. Oglesby was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Oglesby is survived by her daughters, Denise Oglesby of Prairie Grove, AR and Kaye Neal and husband, Richard of Pearcy, AR; three grandchildren, Randee Watson and husband, Nick Watson of Magnolia, AR, Travis Ashby and wife, Shanna of Broken Arrow, OK, and Laurie Pinner and husband, Adam of Hope, AR; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Dot Kitchens and husband, Herschel of Lewisville, AR, Maribeth Fogg and husband, Floyd of Pearl River, LA; and one brother, Virgil Cleveland and wife, Mary Jean of Houston, TX.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Rev. Teddy Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, AR. Visitation will be held from 10am-11am before the Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritans Purse.
