Lionel Lee O'Donley

June 1, 1931 ~ November 4, 2007

Shawnee resident Lionel Lee O'Donley died Saturday, Nov. 4, at the age of 76.

He was born June 1, 1931, to Coyt and Agnes O'Donley.

He graduated with the Anadarko High School Class of 1949.

Lionel served with the 45th Division in the Korean War and was a graduate from Oklahoma State University.

He worked for Goodyear Tire Company for ten years. He retire from Tinker Air Force Base after 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coyt and Agnes O'Donely; two brothers, Oren and Eldon O'Donley; one son, Lionel Steven O'Donely; and one granddaughter, Melissa Wesland.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol C. O'Donley; one son, Mike O'Donley; two daughters, Brenda Weland and Darla Younger; four grandchildren, Kyle O'Donley, Jason White and Cole and Rachel Younger; two sisters, and brothers~in~law, Phyllis and Chuck Gage of Norman, Marlene and Buddy Bedoka of Anadarko; one sister~in~law, Betty O'Donley.
