Richard Scott Odle
September 20, 1972 ~ August 28, 2022 (age 49)

Richard Scott Odle was born September 20, 1972 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Vicki Kay (Skinner) Akins and Ricky Leon Odle. He passed away August 28, 2022 at his home in Tryon at the age of 49.

Scott grew up in Cushing where he graduated in 1990. He went on to become a welder in the oilfield. Scott married Amy Lemon, and they had a daughter, Allison Odle. He later had a son, Colby McIntire. Scott enjoyed collecting knives and guns, as well as watching OU football.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivan, Papa John, Papa Jim, Evelyn, and Norma; his father, Ricky Odle; and brother, Brian Odle. Survivors include his mother, Vicki Akins and her husband Jerry of the home; fiancé, Mika McCracken; children, Allison Odle, Colby McIntire; brothers, Chris Odle and his wife Karly of Wellston, Nick Odle of Cushing, Ronnie McCoy of Sand Springs; sister, Brandy Story and her husband Mike of Luther; stepbrothers, Jerry Akins, Jr. and Jason Akins; stepsister, Jennifer Akins; as well as many other family and friends.

Services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home.
