Holley Odle

???? ~ August 27, 2003 Age 89

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at Union Cemetery for Holley Odle, 89, who passed away in her home on August 27, 2003, in Bakersfield. Pastor Doug Davis will officiate.

Holley, an Oklahoma Native, had spent most of her life in Kern County. She dedicated her entire life to God and her family. She worked many years in the packing shed, as a teacher's aide and a housewife.

Holley is survived by 60 immediate family members. Sons are J. D. Geer of Arkansas, Raymond Geer of Porterville, Veachel Geer of Bakersfield and Johnny Geer of Canyon Lake, California. Daughters are Pauline Orton and Sharon Crider of Bakersfield. Two surviving sisters are Norma Goss of Bakersfield and La Verne Wernli of Arvin. Holley's husband, John, preceded her in death in 2002. Sisters and brothers preceded in death are Perna Wooford, Joe Richardson, Geraldine Bourque, Durlin Richardson and Ida Richardson. There are 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

The family expresses their appreciation to Around the Clock and to Hoffmann Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hoffmann Hospice or your favorite charity in memory of Holley. She will be missed by all.

No visitation is scheduled.
