Jane (Brining) Oakley

Jane (Brining) Oakley
May 31, 1932 ~ January 1, 2023

Jane B. Oakley was born on May 31, 1932, to Herbert and Clara Brining in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 1, 2023, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was active in band and vocal music and graduated from Cherokee High School. She graduated from Stephens College and attended the University of Oklahoma as a member of Alpha Chi-Omega. Jane married Bruce Oakley on August 22, 1953. She was very active in the community, attending the Service League and the Bartlesville Symphony Society. She loved playing Bridge, bowling, and golfing.

Jane Oakley was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Clara, and her brother.

She is survived by her husband Bruce, three sons, Edward, Karl, Kevin and wife Connie, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. The family welcomes donations to The Journey Home, 900 Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK, as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
